Another weekend has come and gone...

This weekend has been quite the whirlwind! It started out Friday when Jane and her friend arrived in town a.k.a. the most livable city. We went to dinner at the new Macca's in Westport Village. For those of you who have not dined at this restaurant we would highly recommend it. It's become an instant favorite of ours. Very Florida-esque. I in particular love it for this reason. After dinner we ventured into St. Matthew's for a little bit of Brendan's. We're not exactly used to these high impact Friday's (we're normally good for dinner and drinks at a nearby bar & grille---and that's about it) but we saddled up and proved to be ready for the challenge. Saturday was a beautiful day and Jane and I shared some sisterly love (we miss you, Jenn!) bonding over movies and shopping. FUN but potentially dangerous... Saturday nite was all about Fourth Street Live! Can we say d-r-a-m-a? I think this place just brings it out in people. That's my hypothesis anyway. Below are a couple of pictures from early in the evening. I wish I had taken more to share with everyone. I wouldn't say either of us are eager photographers but we're trying and slowing getting better---hey we have a blog now don't we???? Sunday has been...well typical Sunday. At least we have a short week to look forward to. Until later.....

Sacred Heart Academy Class of 1998 celebrated our 10 year class reunion this past weekend. The festivities began Friday nite at the school. Alumna were given the opportunity to re-walk the hallways of "Dear Sacred Heart" and take trolley rides around campus. Saturday nite was "bar nite" at Gerstle's. It was a blast to see so many familiar faces from the past and reminisce on old times! The reunion concluded Sunday morning with an alumna mass at the Motherhouse Chapel. I have to admit though I only joined in the festivities at the bar----go figure. James "reunioned" with me but warned me beforehand that he may not make it out very long as he was tired from a long day of work. Well, 9:00 p.m. turned into 10:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. into 3:00 a.m. Yeah, I think you get the picture. We had alittle too much fun, I do believe. These pictures are from early in the evening and it was all down hill from here.....hahaha! It truly was a very special evening among old friends!! Hopefully we can do it again sometime very soon.

SHA 10 Year Reunion

Welcome to our blog! I am a first time "blogger" so please bare with me as I get a hang of this. I thought it would be a great way to share our lives with family and friends--near and far!
